The Frayer Model helps me understand the words I had trouble, because it makes me write down the definition and write a sentence with each one of them. Writing down the sentence and definition helps me focus on what the word means. It also helps me draw an image on the paper so I can see the word as a picture. And it also lets me make an antonym so I can see the word as something else.
